The Story Behind iZak

The origins of iZak go back more than 10 years and was borne out of our CEO, Amos Avitan’s desire to give back to the industry and help young contractors achieve the success he had when he built a contractor company with more than 50 employees and spanning two provinces in Canada. 

At first, iZak started as an estimating tool we developed in-house to help our consulting clients create more accurate estimations for jobs but this spawned a whole range of other tools covering areas like cash flow projections, quoting, charge out rates, and a whole lot more.

Then it became an obsession as our development team added more and more functions and features to the tool. After more than 10 years developing, planning, and perfecting, we’ve now come up with the most multi-purpose, all-in-one tool designed specifically for contractors.
